Description: This course is intended for those who have minimal experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This course focuses on: 1.) Understanding typical characteristics of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. 2.) Strategies and supports that tend to be effective in preventing and decreasing the frequency and intensity of behavior incidents. 3.) Strategies that tend to be effective when intervening during behavior incidents.
